This research examines the historical as well as contemporary landscape of family owned businesses in India and around the world. It focuses on a select group of prominent family businesses to analyse their longevity, impact, and value contribution. The paper highlights adaptability and long-term vision for longevity of family businesses in India. This study aims to offer a deeper understanding of the role of these family businesses in India’s economic development.
Objective:To evaluate the practical value of Infrared forehead thermometer (IFT)s in body temperature screening and provide evidence-based recommendations for optimizing measurement site selection in febrile patients. Methods: For the pre examination triage patients, the forehead temperature gun was used to select the forehead (forehead method), wrist (wrist method) and neck (neck method) for temperature measurement, and the mercury thermometer was used to measure the axillary temperature (standard method).
Drug delivery systems (DDS) are a crucial area in pharmacology, ensuring proper delivery of therapeutic agents with enhanced efficacy and decreased side effects. Conventional drug delivery approach, which includes oral, parenteral, transdermal, and topical systems, has been widely employed but often suffers limitations such as poor bioavailability, non-specific targeting of drugs, and frequent dosing needs.
Nature has bestowed upon us plenty of herbs and plants, which are a source of medicines involved in maintaining human health. The word “herbs” comes from the Latin ‘herba’. It means a medicinal plant. India has a rich cultural heritage of traditional medicines which chiefly comprised of a flourishing system of medicines like Ayurveda, Siddha, and Unani. It is considered not just as an ethnomedicine but also as a complete medical system that includes the physical, psychological, ethical, and spiritual well-being of man kind.
Plants can be considered as the natural gift to humans with diverse abilities and capabilities incombating and curing diseases apart from being the main source of basic needs. For millennia, man started using various parts of plants such as roots, stems, bark, leaves, flowers, and fruits to curb diseases associated with nutritional defects or bacterial, fungal, and viral infections.
Introduction:Medication non-adherence is a major problem that leads to poor treatment outcomes, increased hospital visits, and higher medical expenses. Many individuals, especially older adults and people with chronic diseases, find it difficult to keep track of their medication schedules. Objective:This study focuses on developing HealthTrack, a digital medicine management system that helps patients take medications on time through automated tracking, smart reminders, and data-driven predictions.
The present study was carried out to explore the most abundant bioindicator species of birds in urban areas of Jhalawar district. The study was carried out in selected urban gardens and government buildings. We observed 10 bird species are Pigeon, Laughing dove, House sparrow, Brahminy myna,Common myna, Brown rock chat, Oriental magpie robin, Indian robin, Jungle babbler, Rose ringed parakeet. These species are more dominant and present almost every study site.

Despite significant advancements in healthcare, disparities in access to quality healthcare services persist in rural India. This study undertakes a quantitative assessment of regional disparities in healthcare facilities across Dakshin Dinajpur district, West Bengal. Using a multidimensional Health Index constructed from 13 key indicators, we analyze the spatial patterns of healthcare inequities across eight blocks in the district.
Background: Laser technology has emerged as a valuable tool in periodontics, offering precise, efficient, and minimally invasive treatment options. Despite its advantages, limited exposure and training may hinder its adoption in dental practice. This study aims to assess the knowledge and awareness of lasers in periodontics among dental students at various academic levels.
