Cytomorphological study of different lesions in medical college of rural maharashtra

Background:  Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is used in diagnosis of superficial & deep seated swellings of various organ of body. Different organs include breast, lymph node, thyroid, salivary gland & soft tissue etc. FNAC gives added advantage as it is an outpatient procedure & gives early differentiation from non-neoplastic & malignant lesion. The present study was aimed to study clinical features& cytomorphology of different lesions in body.

Laser Management of Traumatic Fibroma with Methylene Blue Assessment: A Case Report

Introduction: This article depicts the clinical presentation, diagnosis, management, and reepithelialization assessment of a fibroma; a fibrotic lesion of the gingiva and oral mucosa that can cause aesthetic and functional issues. Case report: The case report involves laser excision of a painless, firm growth on the lower front region of the jaw, caused by trauma or irritation. The lesion was histologically confirmed as originating from the oral mucosa and healing was assessed using methylene blue assay.

Identification of Potential Therapeutic Targets for the Development of Novel Treatment Strategies in Disease Management

Over the course of the last ten years, targeted small molecule medications have brought about a significant change in the treatment of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). These medications disrupt the ATP-dependent ABL tyrosine kinase, which in turn disrupts a constitutively active BCR-ABL, which is the agent that is responsible for chronic myeloid leukemia. Despite the fact that tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) have been shown to be helpful in facilitating a survival rate that is more than 90 percent, these medications do not have any curative effects.

Contemporary sources of toxins, including industrial pollutants, agrochemicals, and lifestyle-related exposures, pose significant health risks today.

A comparative analysis of antimicrobial potential of green tea and green coffee extract on streptococcus mutans on in vitro study

Background:- Tea and coffee are the two most consumed drinks in the world after water. Green tea, Camellia sinensis (Theaceae) and Green coffee, Coffea arabica (Rubiaceae) possess antimicrobial activity in adjunct to various biological properties. Through this study, we have analysed the antimicrobial properties of  Green tea and Green coffee extracts in contrast to chlorhexidine which was used as the control against Streptococcus mutans.

Heavy metal accumulation in roadside plants, certain crops and their effect on consumers

The ficus, grass and commercially important  crop plants (sugarcane, wheat & maize) were  evaluated as a phytotool of heavy metals such as Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), Cadmium (Cd), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn), Chromium (Cr) and Nickel (Ni) around Jamkhandi. The soil samples at a depth (0 – 20cm) and  test plant leaves were taken from different sampling sites viz, S1, S2, S3,S4, S5 and S6  on state highway with high  traffic roads passing through the Jamkhandi (Karnataka) were determined by AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer).

New occurrence of the genus Pseudolaguvia (Teleostei: Sisoridae) from the Indo-Bhutan streams of the Brahmaputra drainage of Assam, India

Abstract: Three different species of sisorid catfishes of the genus Pseudolaguvia are reported from the downstream of Aie tributary near the foot hills of the Chirang District of Assam, India. Morphometrically the Pseudolaguvia ferula Ng, 2006 distinguished from its congeners in having a terete head and body with combination of narrower head width (18.8 ̶ 19.0 % SL), shorter adipose-fin base (12.8 ̶ 13.7 % SL), presence of unculiferous ridges on the thoracic adhesive apparatus joined at their posterior ends.

Synthesis of Cu-doped ZnO Thin Film and its Study related to NO2 Gas Sensing Properties

Cu-doped ZnO thin film was synthesized on glass substrate using chemical bath deposition method at room temperature, exhibiting a hexagonal wurtzite structure with a crystallite size of 17.53 nm for 5 wt% Cu doping. The SEM image of the film’s crystallites displays a spherical morphology with an average size of approximately 100 nm. Gas sensing studies towards NO2 gas revealed a linear response up to 50 ppm with sensitivities of 1.64, 2.17, and 3.11 for 10, 25, and 50 ppm, respectively and 3.72 at 100 ppm without full saturation.
