Epidemiological profile of measles in the san health district from january 2021 to december 2023
Introduction: The fight against diseases, especially those preventable by vaccination, is a priority for the world’s health authorities. Measles remains one of the main causes of infant and child mortality despite the availability of a safe and effective vaccine. Prior to the introduction of mass vaccination in 1980, measles caused nearly 2.6 million deaths per year.Method: Our study was cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical. It took place from 01 to 31 January 2024 in the San health district.
