Customizing large language models for ncert textbooks and development of interface which works offline

Offline Language Models (LLMs) as a solution designed for pupils with restricted internet access. Our approach combines the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) dataset for foundational knowledge and straightforward answers with the Question Answering Dataset to encourage critical thinking. The model training prioritizes simplicity for NCERT-based content, delivering concise responses to straightforward queries. Simultaneously, question answer dataset integration prompts the model to provide nuanced responses; fostering out-of-the-box thinking.

Experimental study on mechanical properties of macro synthetics fibers-reinforced binary concrete made by ground granulated blastfurnace slag and fly ash

Concrete production involves using vast quantities of ordinary portland cement (OPC), the primary binder material. However, OPC production uses high embodied energy and emits more CO2 into the atmosphere. One of the alternatives is using industrial waste or by products such as fly ash (FA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) as supplementary cementitious material. However, the main drawbacks of conventional concrete with or without supplementary cementitious material are its brittleness and lower elasticity. This led to the addition of fibers to concrete.

Effect of fungicide on the plant growth promoting traits of rhizobium, isolated from groundnut field

Emergence of resistance among the beneficial microbes against agro-chemicals is a key factor which enables the microbe to function in the presence of toxic agrochemicals like pesticide, fungicide, etc. In the present study, four Rhizobium isolates were isolated from groundnut field. The resistant profile of the isolates against the fungicide carbendazim were tested and the maximum tolerance up to 11,000 ppm were associated with all the four isolates.
