In the present study, we explore the transformative impact of smart materials and their diverse applications in science, engineering, and technology disciplines. Smart materials exhibit adaptive behaviors in response to environmental changes, such as temperature, stress, or electromagnetic fields.
Gujarat is an important partner in the economic and social development of India. It is the seventh largest state of India in terms of area and ninth largest in terms of population. With a population of about 5% of India’s total population, Gujarat contributes 8.3% to India’s GDP and 33% of India’s total merchandise exports.
Background:- Tea and coffee are the two most consumed drinks in the world after water. Green tea, Camellia sinensis (Theaceae) and Green coffee, Coffea arabica (Rubiaceae) possess antimicrobial activity in adjunct to various biological properties. Through this study, we have analysed the antimicrobial properties of Green tea and Green coffee extracts in contrast to chlorhexidine which was used as the control against Streptococcus mutans.
The ficus, grass and commercially important crop plants (sugarcane, wheat & maize) were evaluated as a phytotool of heavy metals such as Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), Cadmium (Cd), Manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn), Chromium (Cr) and Nickel (Ni) around Jamkhandi. The soil samples at a depth (0 – 20cm) and test plant leaves were taken from different sampling sites viz, S1, S2, S3,S4, S5 and S6 on state highway with high traffic roads passing through the Jamkhandi (Karnataka) were determined by AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer).
Abstract: Three different species of sisorid catfishes of the genus Pseudolaguvia are reported from the downstream of Aie tributary near the foot hills of the Chirang District of Assam, India. Morphometrically the Pseudolaguvia ferula Ng, 2006 distinguished from its congeners in having a terete head and body with combination of narrower head width (18.8 ̶ 19.0 % SL), shorter adipose-fin base (12.8 ̶ 13.7 % SL), presence of unculiferous ridges on the thoracic adhesive apparatus joined at their posterior ends.
Cu-doped ZnO thin film was synthesized on glass substrate using chemical bath deposition method at room temperature, exhibiting a hexagonal wurtzite structure with a crystallite size of 17.53 nm for 5 wt% Cu doping. The SEM image of the film’s crystallites displays a spherical morphology with an average size of approximately 100 nm. Gas sensing studies towards NO2 gas revealed a linear response up to 50 ppm with sensitivities of 1.64, 2.17, and 3.11 for 10, 25, and 50 ppm, respectively and 3.72 at 100 ppm without full saturation.
This article presents the soil properties of Bulk Density, Dry Density, Dry Unit Weight, Coefficient of Curvature, Coefficient of Uniformity, Type of Soil pertain to few locations of in and around Davangere. The Davangere is located in mid part of Karnataka, India and found properties of soils is helpful for built up infrastructure and to connect substructure and superstructure with necessary structural arrangements.
Various researchers investigated and analyzed the characteristics of several electric motors utilized in electric vehicles. To develop the study, they used a variety of techniques. Initially, DC motors were employed, but this has the drawback of generating losses because of the usage of commutators and brushes, which lowers efficiency and raises the requirement for motor maintenance. To do away with encounters and commutators, researchers converted from commutator motors to commutator less motors. Among the best commutator less engine types are asynchronous motors.
S.asoca is an ancient Ayurvedic medicinal tree that is used worldwide to treat various kinds of human disorders. The present research evaluates the anti-microbial activity of leaf (Methanol) endophytic extracts of the S. asoca plant by the disc diffusion method against E. coli, P. syringae P. aeruginosa, and B. subtilis, S. aureus, K. sinensis. Methanolic extract of leaves showed the activity against these bacterial species.
Introduction: Chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM) can cause intracranial and extracranial complications. Reducing its prevalence may have both immediate and long-term health advantages. Understanding the local microbial flora in CSOM is critical before beginning empirical therapy. Our study sought to evaluate the link between bacterial profiles and demographic features in patients admitted to tertiary care institutions with persistent suppurative otitis media infections.
