Abstract:

In the present work, MgMn2O4 energy storage nanomaterials were prepared by the co-precipitation technique and reported. MgMn2O4 was comprehensively characterized using a variety of analytical techniques to obtain a better understanding of its physicochemical properties. These techniques included powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) for phase identification and crystal structure analysis, Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy for functional group identification, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for morphological analysis, and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) for elemental analysis. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) analysis showed that MgMn2O4 electrodes exhibit 355 F g-1 at a scan rate of 5 mV/s in 6 M KOH electrolyte solution. A detailed understanding of the structural, chemical, and morphological properties of MgMn2O4 provides valuable insights into its potential use as an electrode component for supercapacitors.
