Introduction: Piper betle (L) is a common plant cultivated in Asian countries, leaves of which are used in folk medicine for the treatment of various disorders. Aim: To evaluate the anti-bacterial efficacy of 4% Piper betle (L) leaves extract mouth rinse on the Human Gingiva. Materials and Methods:45 systemically healthy patients,15 years and above with mild to moderate Gingivitis were randomly divided into: Group A: Distilled Water (Placebo). Group B: Commercially available 0.2% Chlorhexidine gluconate (Positive Control).
