Abstract:

Solubility is measured for L-asparagine crystals admixtured with ammonium fluoride (LAAF) at different temperatures. Single crystals of LAAF salt was grown by slow evaporation technique. Elemental analysis of the grown crystal was done by Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) studies. Evaluation of values of lattice parameters, optical band gap, yield strength, stiffness constant was performed for the grown crystals. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) studies, Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) studies and thermal studies for LAAF crystals were carried out and the results are reported
